Ghanaian international right back Ernestina Abambila has been signed on a season’s deal with Belarusian Women’s Premier League club, ZFK Minsk.
The player who attended Mississipi Valley State University and Youngstown State University in United State of America flew to Belarus last Wednesday.
Ernestina Abambila embarked on her new journey and stated that ,“Delighted to have signed my first professional contract with ZFK Minsk, new challenge, can’t wait to get going.”
She thus becomes the second Ghanaian to join the Belarusian side after Blessed Ladies center back Faustina Ampah’s deal earlier this year.
Ernestina Abambila featured for Ghana’s youth teams at the FIFA World Cup Under 17 and Under 20 levels.
The Belarusian giants have 7 African players currently on their books.
